A Northern MN Family Fun Vacation
Get out and play, or stay and relax!
Enjoy the various outdoor activities and attractions northern MN has to offer. We have canoes, kayaks, paddle-boats, stand-up paddle boards, swim raft, sandy beach, and water toys for our guests to use free of charge. We also have 2 pontoons and several boats for rent. There is free Wi-Fi throughout the resort, a walking trail through the woods, a playground, games in the lodge and plenty of things to do and see nearby.
Relish the quiet time at our small private resort while staying in one of our clean and comfortable lakeside cabins, or camping in our wooded campground. Whatever it is you do, you’ll be sure to have a memorable vacation!
Stand up Paddleboards , paddleboats, canoes, and kayaks available to resort guests, free of charge!
Canoe the Shoreline – 11.5 miles of lakeshore at your doorstep, or portage to a nearby river. Need a canoe? Ours is yours for the day.
Cast a Lure – Walleye, Northern, Large Mouth Bass, Crappies, and Bluegills are biting on Gull Lake! If not, we’ll find you a nearby lake where they are biting.
Swim at our private beach.
Explore the North Woods – Numerous area historical sites and the Chippewa National Forest within a half hour drive. We’re sure you will enjoy your exploration!
Flush a Grouse – Acres of prime public hunting land for you.
Hike the Woods – We have trails throughout our 30 acres of woods, or visit any of the nearby state and national forests.
Play a game of Volleyball, Horseshoes, Corn Hole, on our playground or come to the lodge to play a game of Pool, read a book or play a variety of other games!
Build a campfire and roast marshmallows for S’mores.
Surf the ‘net with our free WiFi.
Swing your golf clubs at our neighborhood courses. (Two within 10 miles)
Watch the eagles raise their young; their nest is less than 50 yards behind cabin 6.
See how many you can find of the over 50 species of birds that have been identified by an Ornithologist here at our resort.
Share a laugh with friends, family, and your friendly hosts.
Shop the many great local gift shops or the local mall.
Soak up some sun from the shore, dock, raft, or pontoon.
Take a trip to the headwaters of the Mississippi and other Minnesota landmarks!
Itasca State Park – less than a half hour’s drive from our door. Visit Douglas Lodge, see the largest Red and White pines in the state, and play at the mouth of the Mississippi.
Venture to the Lost Forty, just East of Blackduck, to see the awesome splendor of an original growth white pine forest. Along the way stop at Camp Rabideau and explore life at a CCC Camp.
Visit downtown Bemidji. See the statues of Paul Bunyan and Babe the Blue Ox at the visitor’s center. Don’t forget to have your picture taken. And while in downtown Bemidji, spend some time on the sculpture walk and enjoy work from local artists.
